Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive data platform, analytics, and data product initiatives across on-site and offshore delivery teams. You will align business requirements with technical solutions, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, reliable data solutions using Databricks, SQL, AWS, and Airflow.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years of data engineering experience, 4+ years with Databricks, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills to partner with Fortune

Qualifications

12–15 years in data engineering, with 4+ years in Databricks.
Strong SQL, Python (PySpark), and modern data platforms experience.
Experience leading onsite-offshore delivery and stakeholder mgmt.

Responsibilities

Lead data engineering initiatives across data platform and analytics workstreams.
Coordinate with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure on-time, scalable solutions.
Mentor engineers and drive high-quality data products and APIs.
