Job summary

Lennar is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to guide the Enterprise Data and Analytics team in building next-gen data platforms. You will design, implement, and operationalize data solutions, focusing on data quality, scalability, and self-service analytics for business users.

You will lead data ingestion, modeling, and governance efforts, leveraging AWS, Snowflake, and DBT, while mentoring engineers and aligning data work with Lennar's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with architecture and modeling focus.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT and streaming data ingestions.
• Strong data governance, security, and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate data engineering solutions for Lennar's data platforms.
• Architect ETL/ELT and streaming ingestion across sources.
• Model data, build cloud data lakes and warehouses.
• Instrument platforms with metrics and monitoring; ensure data quality.
• Lead CI/CD, code reviews, and modular data tooling.
• Partner with business to translate requirements into data products.
