Matillion is seeking a senior software/data engineer to own end-to-end customer engagements, architect multi-cloud deployments, and evolve the platform with AI-enabled delivery. You will write production-grade code, build complex data pipelines, and collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to drive real business impact.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production-grade software development, deep cloud and data experience, and excellent communication skills to connect

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-grade software development and data integration experience.
• Expert level in Python, SQL and OO languages (Java/Go).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on with scalable data pipelines and cloud data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks/Redshift/BigQuery).
• Experience with AI tools in delivery, including production LLMs, RAG, and AI agents (preferred).
• Customer-facing delivery including pre-sales, implementation, and escalation management.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end customer engagements from discovery to production cut-over.
• Build complex data pipelines and integrations across cloud data platforms.
• Modify Matillion codebase when native features are missing while maintaining security and quality.
• Deliver fast MVPs by diagnosing problems and narrowing scope to accelerate adoption.
• Cultivate executive trust and collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
