Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior Data Engineer to lead scalable data platforms and automation initiatives within its Technology area. You will design tooling to detect data and application issues and communicate findings to engineering and product leadership.

With hands-on Alteryx and Tableau experience and a focus on AI automation, you will deliver analytics capabilities and executive reporting to drive operational efficiency.

5+ years of Database Engineering experience
4 Years of Alteryx experience
Hands-on AI Experience in writing AI skills and agents
4 Years of Tableau or industry standard visualization tool

Responsibilities

Lead complex initiatives with broad impact and participate in large-scale software planning
Design, develop, and run tooling to discover problems in data and applications
Report issues to engineering and product leadership
Review and analyze complex software enhancement initiatives for business, operational, or technical improvements
Make decisions in complex data engineering situations involving software package options, programming languages, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with internal partners to resolve high-risk data engineering challenges
Design and deliver data, analytics, and AI automation capabilities supporting Consumer Technology's Architecture and Engineering strategy
Build scalable data platforms, automation solutions, and executive reporting to reduce manual churn, operational risk, and improve organizational efficiency

Requirements

5+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
4 Years of Alteryx experience
Hands-on AI Experience in writing AI skills and agents
Prior experience in end-to-end implementation of data platform projects4 Years of experience in Tableau or industry standard visualization tool
