Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in data center cooling or mission-critical thermal systems.
• Direct experience with data center cooling systems including chilled water, chillers, dry coolers, cooling towers, pumps, and heat exchangers.
• Strong system-level understanding of rack-to-room/facility heat loads and thermal storage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical cooling loop concept development for advanced data center thermal systems.
• Evaluate and define cooling architectures involving chillers, dry coolers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, CDUs/TCS, and glycol loops.
• Translate rack, room, and facility‑level heat loads into practical mechanical system requirements.
• Develop system concepts, piping schematics, mode tables, operating strategies, and sequence‑of‑operation inputs.
• Evaluate equipment operating limits, redundancy strategies, control capabilities, and commissioning readiness.
• Partner with product, engineering, controls, modeling, sales, field, manufacturing, and customer‑facing teams.
• Support field validation, system troubleshooting, digital analysis, and jobsite performance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance for strategic pursuits, customer discussions, industry events, and commercialization activities.
• Mentor engineers and help transfer practical data center cooling knowledge across teams.
