Job summary

Storm4 seeks a Lead Systems Engineer for the Advanced Cooling Lab and Thermal Modeling to drive both physical testing and digital simulations. You will guide infrastructure concepts through client demonstrations and ensure high standards of safety and data integrity.

The role requires an advanced degree and deep knowledge of heat transfer, CFD, and cooling systems, with proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Cadence.

The Opportunity

Take charge of both physical testing and digital modeling in a cutting-edge cooling lab, guiding next-generation infrastructure from concept to client demonstration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and safety protocols for the Advanced Cooling Lab
  • Design and execute rigorous physical test plans for new cooling technologies
  • Lead development and calibration of digital twin models using simulation software
  • Collaborate with internal teams to validate system modifications and pioneer new methodologies
  • Serve as the technical expert during executive and client demos, translating complex data into actionable insights
What We're Looking For:
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Sciences, or similar
  • Expert understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical cooling systems
  • Proficiency in advanced simulation and modeling software (MATLAB/Simulink, Cadence, etc.)
  • Exceptional communicator - able to translate technical data for both technical and non-technical audiences
