Giga Energy in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee on-site labor for data center construction, from mobilization to turnover, ensuring schedule and budget adherence. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate field operations, and uphold safety and QA standards to deliver high-quality infrastructure for the AI revolution.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management, experience with large-scale data center projects, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as Construction Manager or Superintendent on large-scale projects.
• Direct experience managing subcontractors and field crews across multiple trades.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs.
• Experience with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 30 or higher.
• Experience on data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical facilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Background in fast-paced, high-growth development environments.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all on-site labor, subcontractors, and construction activities from mobilization to turnover.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate daily field operations: manpower, equipment, material delivery.
• Enforce safety standards with the HSE Manager to maintain zero-incident culture.
• Review drawings and RFIs to ensure accurate field execution.
• Conduct daily site walks and weekly progress meetings.
• Manage field change orders with project and engineering teams.
• Manage budgets through preconstruction to closeout and track expenditures.
• Own construction schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure QA/QC standards and collaborate with Quality Manager.
• Track progress, cost performance, and quality metrics to Project Director.
• Support commissioning and closeout activities.
