Job summary

L5 Mission Critical is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of data center construction, retrofit and upgrade projects. You will own scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality while coordinating with operations, commissioning, safety, procurement and finance to ensure zero impact on client uptime.

In this role you will manage live environments, direct subcontractors and vendors, review MOPs, change orders, and ensure seamless turnover to client operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar data center projects.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality in live facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the project lifecycle from award through closeout, including scope definition, work breakdown, schedule development, and budget management.
• Plan and sequence work in live data center environments, including MOP development/review, change management, and maintenance window coordination.
• Lead retrofit and upgrade projects involving critical power and cooling systems (switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, chillers, controls).
• Manage submittals, RFIs, long-lead equipment, change orders, and project documentation to protect margin.
• Coordinate with commissioning teams for testing, integrated systems testing, and turnover.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, as-built docs, O&M manuals, and turnover to client operations.
