Job summary

Hydrogen Group in Florida is seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Data Center to lead delivery of complex data center power and infrastructure projects from due diligence through completion.

You will coordinate internal engineering teams and external consultants, ensure technical quality, schedule adherence, and risk management, and provide engineering recommendations across electrical, mechanical, civil disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
• Experience supporting infrastructure, power, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Data center and/or power delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Demonstrated experience managing internal engineering teams and external consultants.
• Strong project management, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and resource coordination across complex projects.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and engineering activities for data center power projects from due diligence through project completion.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project development and execution.
• Coordinate internal engineering resources across multiple disciplines.
• Manage external engineering consultants, deliverables, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Review engineering documentation for quality and alignment with project requirements.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across electrical, mechanical, civil, and related disciplines.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues impacting scope, schedule, cost, or execution.
• Make engineering recommendations with significant impact on major project activities.
• Support standardized engineering processes and consistent project delivery across the data center portfolio.
• Work with project management and engineering leadership to ensure timely delivery of technical milestones.
