Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to install and decommission data center cabling, network hardware, and server gear. You will lead crews, ensure safety and quality, and document progress in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires expertise in fiber and copper terminations, fiber splicing, and blueprints, with a focus on reliable, scalable infrastructure in Sterling, VA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Data Center network, cabling and systems installations.
• Familiar with copper/fiber testing, splicing, terminations, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install and decommission network, system, and cabling infrastructure in Data Center environments.
• Read blueprints and maintain as-built documentation; ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with stakeholders; supervise crews and ensure safety, quality, and change-management procedures.
