• Install and decommission network, system, and cabling infrastructure in Data Center environments
• Pull all types of low voltage cables following industry standards and best practices
• Perform fusion splicing and fiber optic cable installations
• Execute field terminations and labeling for copper and fiber cabling
• Layout MDF and IDF closets according to specifications and blueprints
• Dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations
• Patch network equipment using both copper and fiber connections
• Extend fiber circuit lines and work on analog and DSL systems
• Provide base configuration and "burn in" of new servers, switches, and other hardware
• Test and troubleshoot

Roka Security is seeking a Data Center Technician who will be responsible for the installation and decommissioning of network, system, and cabling infrastructure within a Data Center environment.

This role focuses on delivering sustainable, repeatable, and improved solutions and processes while maintaining high-quality workmanship and Data Center cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership to crews, collaborate with stakeholders on project progress, and demonstrate a broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies while adhering to all production, safety, and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure Installation & Decommissioning:

• Install and decommission network, system, and cabling infrastructure in Data Center environments
