Job summary

Veriipro in New Jersey is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead design, implementation, and operations readiness for a new data center build across primary and secondary sites.

You will collaborate with senior architects, infrastructure teams, facilities vendors, security, and operations to translate architecture standards into practical build deliverables, including HLD/LLD, runbooks, and validation steps.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of infra engineering or architecture experience.
• Experience with data center migrations or modernization.
• Ability to produce HLD/LLD and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Support: contribute to target-state architecture, resilience design, capacity planning.
• Physical DC Build Coordination: space planning, rack elevations, power, cooling, cabling, rack/stack/commissioning.
• Network: DC core/leaf-spine design, routing, DCI/WAN, firewall placement, IPAM integration.
• Compute/Virtualization: design/implement compute platforms (VMware/vSphere), lifecycle/patching, automation readiness.
• Storage: block/file storage design, replication, encryption, tiering, migrations.
• Backup/DR: design backup/DR aligned to RPO/RTO, validate coverage and runbooks.
• Security/Compliance: apply security standards, RBAC/PAM, logging/SIEM integration, audit-ready docs.
• Delivery Support: maintain docs, support ARB reviews, track risks, update status.
