Job summary

STN, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineering Lead in Odessa, TX to provide technical leadership for critical data center infrastructure, including electrical distribution, UPS, generators, cooling, and BMS/EPMS systems. You will drive reliability, maintenance strategy, and project execution.

The role requires 7+ years in critical facilities and 3+ years leading teams, with PE or CDCP/CDCM preferred. Onsite work with a focus on uptime, safety, and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in critical facilities, data center ops, power generation, utilities or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams, projects or technical programs.
• Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Experience developing maintenance programs and engineering procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, control system diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to facilities engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical power and cooling infrastructure.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead RCA investigations for equipment failures and incidents.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions, and modernization projects.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams for project execution.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO).
• Manage engineering service providers and contractors.
• Develop reporting and analytics to improve system performance and capacity planning.
