Job summary

Introl is seeking a Data Center Deployment Lead I in Newark, NJ to manage and support small technician teams, drive daily production, and troubleshoot quality issues in real time. You will lead with hands-on operational oversight and ensure on-time delivery to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include breaking down work into steps, setting daily plans, and reporting progress. Must have 2+ years in data center deployment and excellent English communication skills for shift leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center deployment, infrastructure installation, or a similar structured cabling environment.
• Strong knowledge of high-density network cabling, including fiber optic routing, patching, cleaning, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English to effectively lead teams, explain technical steps, and deliver daily shift reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of technicians on a defined installation scope.
• Break each assigned task into clear, sequenced steps for the team before work begins.
• Set the daily work plan for the team and drive output against it throughout the shift.
• Perform quality checks on all team work and correct mistakes in the field immediately.
• Ensure all team members comply with design documentation and Introl installation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area across the full team footprint.
• Report daily progress, blockers, and issues to the Sr. DCDL or Foreman at the end of each shift.
• Address team performance issues directly and in real time.
