Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Lead Controls Systems Engineer to design and deliver BAS and EPMS for hyperscale data centers and critical facilities. You will lead technical direction, coordinate with MEP/FP teams, vendors, and BIM/CAD resources, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities include guiding controls-system decisions, ensuring project deliverables, and serving as a key interface with clients while operating within a remote-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of BAS and EPMS design experience on hyperscale, data center or critical infra projects.
• Experience with BAS, EPMS, DDC, PLC, IoT, and smart building tech.
• Data center HVAC controls and chilled-water plant experience.
• Familiar with BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, MQTT and OT protocols.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (LANs, VLANs, switches).
• Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD, and controls-related docs.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of BAS, EPMS, and integrated controls for data centers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary MEP/FP teams, vendors, and BIM/CAD resources.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to project teams and clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee complex deliverables.
