Job summary

Acuity Inc. is hiring a Lead Solutions Architect, Data Center Controls, to lead PLC-based automation design for critical Data Center environments. You will shape control architectures and implement industrial networking strategies across SCADA, BMS, and DCIM platforms.

You will bring deep PLC expertise, CODESYS/IEC 61131-3, and experience with Ignition/Ignition Edge, Modbus/EtherCAT/MQTT/OPC UA. Travel up to 30% may be required. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
10+ years in industrial automation, PLC programming, or solutions architecture.
Extensive PLC platforms and control systems experience.
Proficiency with CODESYS and IEC 61131-3 methodologies.
Experience with Data Center infrastructure and mission-critical facilities.
Strong knowledge of Modbus, EtherCAT, MQTT, Sparkplug B, OPC UA, BACnet/IP, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

Architect and design advanced PLC-based automation for Data Center cooling and mission-critical applications.
Develop scalable architectures integrating cooling, electrical, energy monitoring, and IIoT platforms.
Create reference architectures and deployment standards for enterprise-scale implementations.
