Job summary

Turner Construction Co. in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors on a live project. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget adherence while supervising Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and trade labor.

Responsibilities include creating and sequencing schedules, developing recovery plans, coordinating with owners and engineers, and managing billing and payments in line with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control and contract documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EH&S applications; ability to read and interpret plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality and staffing.
• Coordinate trades to maintain coordinated project operations.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns.
• Create schedules and recovery strategies to maintain schedule.
• Communicate with owners and architects on field issues.
• Manage billing, WIP, payrolls, invoices and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents.
