Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Indianapolis seeks a Superintendent Mechanical-Electrical to lead coordination of MEP trades, ensure safety, schedule, quality and budget adherence. You will supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and trade labor, and work with engineers to coordinate drawings and 3D models.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractor performance, safety programs, daily records, and turnover procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of engineering or architectural experience required.
• Minimum six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control.
• Proficiency with BIM and coordination of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read, interpret contract documents, drawings and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
• Lead coordination among trades to ensure a coordinated project operation.
• Maintain site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Develop and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers.
• Coordinate with engineers on 3D models and drawing coordination.
• Oversee billing and progress reporting for subcontractors.
• Lead project inspections, turnover, and handover of systems.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and specifications.
