Job summary

Colovore is hiring a Senior Controls Engineer to lead design, construction, and operation of BMS for high-density data centers. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable PLC-based control systems and Ignition SCADA integration across projects.

Responsibilities include developing specifications, reviewing vendor packages, and guiding commissioning and operations to maintain Colovore’s high-performance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience designing and implementing chiller plant and HVAC controls and EPMS in mission-critical/data center environments.
• Hands-on experience leading and executing BMS design, construction, commissioning, and operations support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; EIT/PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical review of data center BMS including chilled water plant/HVAC control using PLCs, EPMS, and Ignition SCADA.
• Develop BMS requirements, architecture, sequences of operation, and diagrams.
• Guide vendors/contractors to ensure design quality, schedule, and cost effectiveness.
• Support construction, commissioning, and operations with field troubleshooting and project documentation.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure scalable, secure BMS solutions.
