Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Lead Data Architect to anchor a multi-year data platform modernization. You will own the target architecture, guide an India-based delivery team, and help grow the account by shaping solutions for agile AI-assisted migrations.

You will lead the Snowflake design, data modeling, and governance discussions, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with client stakeholders to deliver high-impact data platform outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data engineering and architecture.
• 4+ years hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Proven Hadoop (Cloudera, Hive, Spark) to cloud migration delivery.
• Strong SQL, Python and Spark; Snowpark and CI/CD familiarity.
• Experience with data modeling, lineage, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading distributed teams and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Track record in solutioning, proposals, and winning new work.
• Preferred: financial services background and AI tooling for code conversion.

Responsibilities

• Define the target Snowflake architecture, data models, layering, and patterns.
• Lead assessment and design for Hadoop-to-Snowflake migrations.
• Guide conversion of workloads to Snowflake SQL and Snowpark with AI-assisted tools.
• Set validation: reconciliation, data quality, parallel runs, cutover and rollback.
• Collaborate with client security, governance on access and retention.
• Identify growth opportunities within the account and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Shape proposals and scope with account, sales, and delivery leadership.
• Mentor engineers and support estimates, scope, and risk.
