Job summary

Continental Finance Company, a growing fintech focused on credit card options for consumers with less-than-perfect credit, seeks an IT Lead Data Analyst to join the Operations team. You will define BI strategy, lead the Data Analytics group, and deliver timely, actionable insights across marketing, servicing, collections, and customer journeys.

The role blends business savvy with hands-on analytics. You will manage dashboards, work with Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, and Adobe Analytics, mentor staff,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, CS, IS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in data analytics, BI, or reporting with some supervision experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise data platforms like Snowflake or SQL Server.
• Experience building dashboards and analytics using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Ability to trace data across sources and ensure reliable information.
• Experience with traditional systems-of-record data and digital analytics data; Adobe Analytics preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate needs into practical data solutions.
• Leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving; fintech/financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Analytics team, set priorities, assign workload, coach team members, ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, define KPIs, and translate needs into actionable reporting and data strategies.
• Guide development of BI capabilities using Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, SQL Server, and Adobe Analytics.
• Analyze business, operations, customer, and behavioral data to derive reliable insights.
• Understand and integrate data across core systems and digital telemetry platforms for comprehensive insights.
• Promote data quality, governance, metric definitions, and consistency in reporting.
• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
