Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) seeks a Lead DAS Technician III for nationwide deployments. The role leads installation crews on DAS, Small Cell, and Private Wireless projects across the United States, with 100% travel to client sites.

You will mentor technicians, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate materials, schedules, and documentation. The position demands 2–5+ years in DAS or equivalent wireless infrastructure, strong RF testing skills, and the ability to read iBwave designs.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in DAS installation or equivalent wireless infrastructure.
• Ability to read iBwave design documentation and RF drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation crews on DAS, Small Cell, and Private Wireless projects nationwide.
• Travel full-time (100%) to customer sites nationwide.
• Supervise technicians and apprentices during all phases of installation.
• Ensure installations meet CTS safety, quality, and customer standards.
• Manage daily project progress and communicate status to Field Managers and Project Managers.
• Coordinate material handling, inventory, and job site organization.
• Perform site walks for small venues and retail locations.
• Read and interpret iBwave design documentation and installation drawings.
• Install, terminate, and test coaxial and fiber optic cabling.
• Perform fusion splicing and fiber optic testing.
• Conduct PIM and Sweep testing using Anritsu Site Master and other RF test equipment.
• Troubleshoot DAS systems and assist with system verification.
• Collect documentation, photos, and closeout information.
• Complete and approve daily timesheets as required.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, customer, and CTS safety requirements.
