Qualifications
- Requires bachelor's degree in lab science or medical technology.
- 3-5 years of related experience in cytopathology or lab setting.
- Managerial experience: 1+ years preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work schedules and monitor staff productivity.
- Review daily work to identify errors and ensure timely corrections.
- Maintain logs and daily QC/maintenance.
- Troubleshoot procedures and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine cytopathology screening (gyne and non-gyne).
- Manage staff resources to meet lab needs.
- Monitor cytopathology quality standards and provide statistics.
- Assist in diagnostic rescreening of slides as needed.
- Ensure compliance with lab regulations and accreditation standards.
