Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Supervisory Computer Scientist (Technical Advisor) to lead cybersecurity test and evaluation efforts at Edwards AFB, CA. This role guides planning, directing, and supervising staff across two locations, focusing on DoW aircraft and munition cybersecurity programs.

The position requires 7+ years in developmental test management, 2+ years in cyberspace operations, and 2+ years in aircraft/munitions testing, with a Top Secret clearance likely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is required.
• Engineering degree NH-0854-04/0855-04/801-04 from ABET-accredited department is required.
• B.S. in Operations Research is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civilian personnel and manage flight staff.
• Review policies and organizational design to remove barriers and improve mission outcomes.
• Serve as the cybersecurity and/or cyber resiliency T&E SME in Aircraft & Munition Weapon Systems.
• Represent the organization with DoW, AF, and partner agencies.
• Build relationships across management, engineering, and staff across locations.
