Job summary

Peraton Labs seeks a Principal Research Scientist to lead or contribute to research programs in cybersecurity across multiple domains. The role involves designing, prototyping, testing, and demonstrating advanced solutions while coordinating with customers to define needs and present results.

The ideal candidate has a PhD with extensive hands-on development experience and a track record of leading research programs, proposals, and collaboration with DoD/IC/government customers.

Qualifications

• PhD is required with strong research background in cybersecurity, networking, hardware or systems.
• Experience leading DARPA or similar projects as Principal Investigator is preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers, write proposals and present research results.

Responsibilities

• Lead or collaborate with a team of research scientists to design, prototype, test, and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions.
• Define research programs and provide direction for the team and customers.
• Develop proposals addressing customer needs and communicate results to DoD/IC/government customers.
