AMERICAN SYSTEMS seeks a lead test engineer to direct a small cyber team focusing on DoW system cybersecurity, test and evaluation, and policy collaboration. The role interfaces with DoW programs, MDAPs, and PEOs to shape effective cyber test strategies and timely capability delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of related work experience.
Master's degree in engineering/cyber related area desired.
Experience with DoW/DHS or related areas.
TS/SCI clearance required.
SAP experience desired.

Responsibilities

Provide cybersecurity SME expertise for DoW DoW systems and modernization efforts.
Lead a team of cybersecurity engineers and collaborate with DTE&A assessment teams.
Provide T&E expertise supporting interactions with MDAPs and prototypes.
Review acquisition docs to inform assessments and risk development.
Identify changes required in testing equipment, procedures, or tests that impact delivery.
Collaborate with DTE&A and DoW engineers to promote best cybersecurity practices.
Support development of DTE&A Assessments to MOEs, Services, and PEOs.
Review TEMPs, SEPs, LCSPs, ADMs, baselines and strategies for milestones.
Evaluate test results, schedules, resources and risks for milestone reviews.
Develop papers and briefings for senior OSD decision makers.
Assess and provide recommendations on DT&E policy.
