Job Summary:

The Lead Cybersecurity Analyst is a subject matter expert responsible for safeguarding digital assets by monitoring networks, systems, and applications for threats. You will mentor junior team members, lead investigations, enforce security policies, and develop cybersecurity strategies. Strong communication, leadership, and proactive security improvement skills are essential.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate on strategic security improvements with cross-functional teams.
2. Lead threat monitoring and analysis using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other tools.
3. Develop and execute incident response strategies, including containment and recovery.
4. Drive threat hunting initiatives to identify sophisticated threats.
5. Enhance SOC processes, workflows, and tools deployment.
6. Mentor and guide junior analysts to develop their skills.
7. Manage threat intelligence collection and application.
8. Champion continuous improvement in SOC operations and security posture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years in Cybersecurity Operations or related IT roles.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR tools.
• Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, CHFI are desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Expertise in cyber threat landscape and threat intelligence integration.
• Experience handling security incidents and implementing response strategies.
