Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. is recruiting a Lead Cybersecurity Architect for the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program. You will lead a team of CSfC engineers, drive secure communication systems, and ensure NSA CSfC standards are met across deployments.

The role requires senior systems and platform-security expertise, deep knowledge of CSfC packages, PKI, DoD hardening, and strong cross‑functional collaboration with government stakeholders. Remote-friendly with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred) or 10+ years related experience.
• At least 15 years of cybersecurity, information assurance or network engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with USN cybersecurity policy, solutions, and direction.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams, including mentoring and performance management.
• In-depth knowledge of NSA CSfC Capability Packages, including expertise in areas like Mobile Access, Campus WLAN, Data-at-Rest, and Multi-Site Connectivity.
• Strong technical proficiency in encryption technologies (e.g., IPsec, TLS), VPNs, firewalls, and MDM solutions.
• Experience with NSA CSfC training and certifications like CISSP/CISA/CCSP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSfC implementation engineers for USN CSfC deployment and mentor a high‑performing team.
• Serve as liaison with government and industry from a cybersecurity perspective.
• Conduct briefings on CSfC topics to the executive level of USN.
• Oversee CSfC deployments to meet classified network requirements.
• Ensure CSfC deployments comply with NSA CSfC capabilities and guidelines; conduct audits and risk assessments.

What will you be doing?

WWT is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Architect for the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program. The Lead Cybersecurity Architect will spearhead a team of CSfC (Commercial Solutions for Classified) implementation engineers, driving the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of secure communication systems that leverage commercial technologies to protect classified information in compliance with NSA standards. This role requires a blend of technical (network, systems, security, policy) expertise, leadership skills, and strategic oversight to ensure mission-critical projects are delivered efficiently and securely.

The role requires senior systems and platform-security experience, combining breadth across the CSfC Capability Packages with hands‑on depth in RHEL platform security, virtualization, PKI, and DoD hardening. It also requires a solid understanding of networking, including TCP/UDP, firewalls, routing, and both site-to-site and client IPsec VPNs. The architect must communicate effectively across audiences, from hands‑on engineers to executive decision‑makers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and mentor a team of CSfC implementation engineers for the USN enterprise CSfC deployment, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster a high‑performing team.
• Serve as liaison with government and industry from a cybersecurity perspective. Ensure constant technical, security, and information assurance guidance is provided, and feedback is received from the government.
• Conduct briefings on CSfC cybersecurity topics to the executive level of USN.
• Oversee the cybersecurity parameters of the implementation of CSfC solutions, including installation, configuration, integration, and testing to meet classified network requirements.
• Ensure all CSfC deployments comply with NSA CSfC Capability Packages, policies, and guidelines, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to maintain security integrity.
• Facilitate design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, network architects, and stakeholders, to align CSfC initiatives with organizational objectives and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Ensure technical accuracy of documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes; maintain accurate records for audits and future reference.
• Convert the solution design drawings into as‑built drawings and maintain throughout the solution implementation process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues in CSfC environments, such as encryption protocols, VPN configurations, and multi‑layer security implementations.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, threats, and updates to CSfC standards, recommending improvements and leading innovation efforts within the team.
• Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluate end‑to‑end systems and systems‑oriented products through their entire life cycle.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge‑sharing activities to enhance team capabilities in CSfC best practices and tools.
• Assist with vendor relationships and evaluation of commercial products for CSfC compatibility, ensuring seamless integration into classified systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred) or 10+ years related experience.
• At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance or network engineering required.
• At least 5 years of experience with USN cybersecurity policy, solutions, and direction.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams, including mentoring and performance management.
• In-depth knowledge of NSA CSfC Capability Packages, including expertise in areas like Mobile Access, Campus WLAN, Data-at-Rest, and Multi-Site Connectivity.
• Strong technical proficiency in encryption technologies (e.g., IPsec, TLS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
• Relevant CSfC training such as Trusted Integrator training.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, PMP, CISM preferred.
• Experience with commercial security products from vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft or Juniper, and familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FIPS 140-2).
• Experience with endpoint solutions such as Trellix, Forescout, and other Comply to Connect solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and implement secure, scalable solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret).

Preferred locations: Remote

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $180,000 – 250,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
