Job summary

invictusic in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Lead Cybersecurity Risk & Exposure SME IV to drive operational cyber risk, vulnerability analysis, and continuous monitoring for a DoD mission. You will spearhead exposure assessments, remediation prioritization, and risk-informed actions with cross-functional SOC and engineering teams.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, DoD risk/ RMF expertise, and TS/SCI with CI polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 4 years may substitute for the degree
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience beyond education
Expert knowledge of vulnerability/exposure management and RMF/security controls
Active DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification preferred; TS/SCI with CI polybonus desired

Responsibilities

Serve as senior SME for operational cyber risk, vulnerability/exposure analysis, and continuous monitoring for a DoD cyber defense mission
Develop exposure-analysis methodologies and risk-informed actions across assets and configurations
Coordinate material findings with ISSOs/ISSMs, system owners, and RMF stakeholders
Produce executive risk assessments, metrics, dashboards, and technical products communicating exposure and mission impact
Mentor analysts and perform quality reviews of exposure assessments and remediation recommendations
