Collins Aerospace’s Applied Research & Technology team is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in AI security, GPU design, and emerging security technologies to lead complex R&D efforts.

You will serve as a key technical contributor, guiding multidisciplinary teams to create and transition security solutions for mission-critical platforms, with opportunities to engage customers and shape next-generation defenses.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with embedded systems or industrial control systems.
• Experience with reinforcement learning or AI security research.
• Experience leading research activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects focused on AI security and GPU use in cyber-physical systems.
• Coordinate hardware, software, communications, and systems engineers on secure AI solutions.
• Deliver tech demonstrations and engage customers early to show impact.
• Prepare and execute government-sponsored security research programs.
• Foster partnerships with stakeholders to align research with business goals.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
