Job summary

Cydecor, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cyber Engineer to provide senior technical leadership supporting Navy cybersecurity, systems engineering, and IT modernization. You will direct engineering teams and ensure RMF compliance across multiple task orders.

You bring 8+ years of DoD experience, Navy platforms familiarity, DoD cyber policies, STIGs, and an active Top Secret clearance. The role is primarily on-site in Norfolk, VA with wide cross-program collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience supporting the operation and sustainment of major DoD systems.
• Experience with a major U.S. Navy platform or comparable DoD enterprise environment.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Strong systems engineering and network architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for cybersecurity engineering and systems integration.
• Lead planning, execution, and oversight across engineering workstreams.

As designated Key Personnel, this individual will serve as the senior engineering authority responsible for cybersecurity engineering, systems integration, secure network infrastructure, and technical execution across multiple task orders. The Lead Cyber Engineer will oversee engineering teams responsible for designing, integrating, securing, deploying, and sustaining enterprise information systems supporting Navy operations. This position requires a strategic engineering leader capable of translating mission requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Navy cybersecurity standards. Responsibilities include: The Lead Cyber Engineer provides technical leadership across all engineering disciplines supporting contract execution, including systems engineering, cybersecurity engineering, network infrastructure, systems integration, configuration management, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance. This individual partners closely with Government technical leadership to ensure engineering activities meet operational objectives while minimizing technical risk and maintaining secure, resilient enterprise capabilities.

• Work Schedule:
• Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours. Work for this position is primarily performed at Cydecor offices with occasional engagement on-site in Norfolk, Virginia . Compensation and Benefits: The projected compensation range for this position is $155,000-190,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
