The successful candidate will provide senior technical leadership supporting Department of the Navy cybersecurity and systems engineering initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Engineer to provide senior technical leadership supporting Department of the Navy cybersecurity, systems engineering, and enterprise IT modernization initiatives. As designated Key Personnel, this individual will serve as the senior engineering authority responsible for cybersecurity engineering, systems integration, secure network infrastructure, and technical execution across multiple task orders.
The Lead Cyber Engineer will oversee engineering teams responsible for designing, integrating, securing, deploying, and sustaining enterprise information systems supporting Navy operations. This position requires a strategic engineering leader capable of translating mission requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Navy cybersecurity standards.
Interim or Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Political Science, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
Monday‑Friday, Standard Business Hours. Work for this position is primarily performed at Cydecor offices with occasional engagement on‑site in Norfolk, Virginia.
The projected compensation range for this position is $155,000‑190,000. A number of factors can impact a final salary, including relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and the contract's Labor Categories.
