Job summary

DLA Careers is seeking a IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) to lead enterprise cybersecurity operations and drive compliance with federal standards. The role involves coordinating strategic cyber defense initiatives, managing risk, and overseeing contractor deliverables to meet mission objectives.

The candidate will work with senior leaders to shape cyber policy, direct red and purple team activities, and ensure robust protection of DoW critical assets in a dynamic Federal environment.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations or SOC programs.
• Experience with risk management frameworks such as NIST RMF.
• Experience directing advanced threat analysis and red/purple team assessments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical authority and program manager for SOC programs.
• Define enterprise roadmap for DoW compliance and federal statutes using NIST RMF 2.0 to govern risk.
• Lead Cybersecurity policy consultations with senior leadership and oversee threat intelligence efforts.
• Direct external assessments including red and purple team exercises and analyze results for systemic risks.
• Defend Cyber Key Terrain by integrating intelligence data and briefing executives on mission risks.
• Act as Contracting Officer's Technical Representative and craft complex technical requirements and SOWs.
• Accept or reject contractor deliverables to ensure alignment with cybersecurity objectives.
