The role emphasizes collaboration, ongoing program development, and compliance with AORN, CMS, and Texas ASC rules. Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS, CNOR/CCRN/RCIS credentials preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, ASN, BSN, or Diploma).
Current Texas RN license or multistate license with eligibility to practice in Texas.
BLS & ACLS certification.
CNOR, CCRN, CVRNBC, or RCIS credentials and competency in moderate sedation.
5+ years of RN experience in cardiac cath lab, interventional cardiology, EP, or related areas.
Strong hemodynamic monitoring, rhythm recognition, and emergency response skills.
Excellent interdisciplinary communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead as circulating RN for cardiovascular procedures in the ASC.
Support development, optimization, and daily operations of the cardiovascular program.
Ensure evidence-based nursing practice and safety standards across procedures.
