Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Customs Brokerage Manager to oversee the Customs Brokerage department, focusing on import clearance, customer service, team performance, and process improvements. This role requires leadership to develop staff, optimize workflows, and maintain high service levels for internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive customs brokerage and logistics experience, strong communication, and the ability to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Customs Brokerage import required.
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience in logistics, customs brokerage preferred.
• Customs House Brokerage license preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel in MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop team members.
• Ability to delegate and manage workload effectively.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Customs Brokerage department with structure and direction.
• Evaluate employee performance and apply wage increase guidelines.
• Define staff responsibilities and distribution of workloads.
• Provide coaching and development for department staff.
• Train and follow up with staff on ongoing development.
