Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is hiring for a full-time Customer Service role on first shift in our Austin area location. The position supports the Customer Service Supervisor and delivers exceptional service to patients, clients and the laboratory via phone.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 1 year in a call center or lab, strong communication, and 35 wpm typing with 10-key. Bonus for an Associate degree or Medical Assistant training; lab experience preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a call center or laboratory.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Typing proficiency of at least 35 wpm, including 10-key.

Responsibilities

• Support the Customer Service Supervisor with departmental goals and staff training.
• Provide patients, clients, and the laboratory with exceptional service over the phone.
• Process billing claims, analyze accounts, and explain charges.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
