Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a dedicated laboratory professional for full-time second shift. You will resolve complex laboratory problems, follow LIS SOPs for test ordering and cancellations, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in lab science, with training in specimen collection or processing, strong reading/writing and analytical skills, and the ability to stand for long periods.

This opportunity is full-time during second shift.

In this role, you will:

• Perform a vital part in resolving complex laboratory problems.
• Follow standard operating procedures for ordering, crediting, noting out, and canceling tests in the laboratory information system.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• At minimum an associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training
• 1 - 2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
