Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with persons with disabilities preferred.
• One year of custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial duties as required and trains assigned staff in proper work habits and safety procedures.
• Dry and wet mop floors; vacuum, spot-clean, or shampoo carpets when assigned; operate floor machines and scrubbers.
• Collects and transports refuse; cleans and relines containers; empties trash and stocks supplies.
• cleans sinks, tubs, showers, toilets; polishes bright work and cleans mirrors; dusts and polishes furniture.
• Coordinates additional services required by the contract and reports to the Assistant Supervisor on issues.
