Job summary

Compass Group USA, ESFM division, is seeking a Lead Janitor for the Kraft-Heinz site in Champaign, IL. This full-time role requires at least 1 year of cleaning experience and offers full-time night shifts Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 pm–4:30 am, with a pay range of $18.00–$18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include training custodial staff, safety compliance, and routine equipment operation. ESFM provides competitive benefits and an employer of record relationship with Compass Group USA.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cleaning experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Conducts one-on-one training as needed.
• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Performs reviews to ensure OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable requirements and policies.
• Performs walk-through building inspections as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
