Job summary

CW Resources is seeking a Lead Custodian to oversee daily facility upkeep, cleanliness, and safety. You will work hands-on and guide a team primarily of adults with disabilities, helping them develop skills and achieve their work goals.

You will coach staff on cleaning techniques, safety, and task execution while ensuring high hygiene standards and building security throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on janitorial experience in commercial/government facilities.
• Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, power washers).
• Valid driver's license and Real ID; ability to obtain government base access.

Responsibilities

• Teach custodial staff proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of adults with disabilities.
• Explain tasks and timelines clearly; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards in daily duties.
• Secure the building at start/end of shifts; report issues promptly.
