Job summary

GRBS Inc. is hiring for a full-time Lead Custodian role serving Portland Public Schools. The schedule is Monday–Friday with one weekend per month, 3:00pm–11:30pm, totaling 40 hours per week, at a pay rate of $15.75/hour.

Successful candidates bring leadership, reliability, and a strong work ethic to maintain a clean, safe school environment. Responsibilities include supervising a cleaning crew, performing standard cleaning tasks, and ensuring daily operations meet GRBS standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Customer service oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process.
• Finish the job with GRBS tools.
• Complete 360 communication.
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable.
• Lead with integrity and humility.
• Complete Building Walkdowns.
• Nightly perimeter door checks.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restrooms, trash removal.
