Job summary

Service-Management-Systems is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to maintain clean premises in Hebron Estates, KY. The role supports facility management with scheduling and performs routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, lifting and moving items, and ensuring safety standards. This is a first shift on-site position with comprehensive benefits and a focus on reliable upkeep.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding simple instructions, memos and basic correspondence.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic with dollars, weight, volume and distance.
• Ability to present information one-on-one or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling for facilities management.
• Perform cleaning of rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and adjacent areas.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstery, draperies.
• Move chairs, tables and light equipment safely.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as burnishers, scrubbers, and pressure washers.

Job Description

Summary: Keeps premises of commercial and institutional buildings in clean and orderly
condition by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.

• Assist Facility Manger with scheduling
• Assist with administrative duties
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators,stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Lifting chairs and place them over tables (approx. chair weight: 20-25 lbs.)
• Moving chemicals (5 gal buckets -- approx. weight 40+ lbs.)
• Moving tables (approx. weight 40+ lbs.)
• Operates different types of equipment (i.e. burnishers, scrubbers, pressurewasher)
• Uses ManLift or ScissorLift Machine
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills

Requirements

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
Prior experience in janitorial housekeeping preferred

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills desired but not required.

Certificates and Licenses:
No certifications needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervision of shift responsibility, handling employee issues
