Job summary

Total Maintenance Management in California is seeking a dedicated worker to keep commercial and institutional spaces clean and orderly. You will perform general cleaning tasks across rooms, floors, surfaces, and fixtures, ensuring a safe, pleasant environment in facilities such as offices, healthcare settings, and airports.

This role requires no prior formal experience, but you should be able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, read and write basic English, and follow simple instructions.

Qualifications

• Education at least a high school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Keeps premises of commercial, retail, airport, hospitality, healthcare, convention centers/arenas or other institutional buildings clean and orderly.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, finishes, and polishes floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
