Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise custodian staff on the assigned site.
• Keep building and grounds neat, clean, and safe.
• Guard against fire and accident hazards.
• Minimize operating costs without reducing efficiency.
• Help prevent property loss through proper use of tools and supplies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Keep floors clean, waxed, buffed, and vacuumed.
• Schedule and execute routine housekeeping tasks.
• Ensure light bulbs and tubes are replaced when needed.
• Report maintenance through proper channels.
• Maintain security of buildings and grounds.
• Set and adjust irrigation on campus grounds as assigned.
• Inform supervisor and principal of custodial developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Custodial Supervisor or Trainer.
