Qualifications

• US Citizenship required or able to obtain
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to perform heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, and walls
• Experience managing custodial care projects and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable, hardworking, conscientious, cooperative, and able to work independently
• Custodial, carpet, and floor care experience
• Mandatory Advanced Custodial Technical Certification from the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI)

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to custodial staff
• Provide guidance and training to team members and assist in hiring/onboarding
• Oversee routine cleaning and manage specialized cleaning projects
• Develop cleaning schedules and procedures
• Order and maintain cleaning supplies/equipment
• Serve as liaison between custodial staff and management
• Ensure compliance with federal facility cleaning protocols and regulations
• Handle complex cleaning tasks and assist with setup/cleanup for events
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Lead cleaning load balancing for compliant results
• Report to CE
• Oversee areas including offices, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds
