New Mexico Highlands University is seeking a Lead Custodian to supervise custodial staff, ensure clean facilities, and maintain equipment and safety practices. The role involves directing a team, coordinating workload, and ensuring high standards across restrooms, floors, and workspaces.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of custodial experience, and a valid New Mexico driver’s license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years’ custodial experience required.
• Ability to lead and train staff; direct lower-level workers.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, odd hours, and emergency calls.
• Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Vacuum, sweep, empty trash, restock supplies.
• Cleans restrooms; cleans fixtures, kitchens, windows.
• Directs lower-level custodial workers; assigns workload.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; orders inventory.
• Shampoos carpets, strips and waxes floors as needed.
