Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas and provide direction to custodial staff. The role focuses on performing janitorial duties, managing daily schedules, and ensuring safety and quality inspections.

The position operates Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM in the Boydton, VA area. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience are required, with CPR/First Aid and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year related experience.
CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
A valid driver’s license may be required for this position.
Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties.
Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
Track and maintain supply inventory.
Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
Monitor employees for proper use of PPE and supplies.
Correct at risk behavior and report to supervisor immediately.
