Job summary

Stillwater Area Public Schools is seeking a Custodian VI for Bayport Elementary. The role involves cleaning and upkeep of the building and grounds to maintain a safe, clean environment for staff, students, and the community.

You may serve as Head Engineer when the supervisor is away and help ensure operating excellence. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a Special boiler license, and the ability to obtain a Minnesota unlicensed electrician license within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent accepted.
• Special boiler license is required at the time of hire.
• Ability to obtain a Minnesota unlicensed electrician license within 6 months.
• One year of custodial experience in educational settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the cleaning and upkeep of assigned building(s) and grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment.
• Serves as Head Engineer in the absence of the lead.
• Maintain facilities in good repair, respond to basic maintenance requests, and support school operations.
