Job summary

Stillwater Area Public Schools is seeking a Custodian VI for Bayport Elementary to assist in cleaning and upkeep of the building, ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff, students, and the community.

The role includes serving as Head Engineer in the absence of the chief engineer, with 8.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 52 weeks per year. A Special boiler license is required at hire and a Minnesota electrician license may be pursued within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A Special boiler license is required at the time of hire.
• Ability to obtain a Minnesota unlicensed electrician license within 6 months.
• One year of custodial experience in educational settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the cleaning and upkeep of assigned building(s) and grounds, to ensure a condition of operating excellence in order to provide a quality education and a safe and clean environment for all staff, students, and community members.
• Serves as Head Engineer in their absence.
