Responsibilities

• Be responsible for routine custodial services duties that include cleaning walls, furniture, appliances and surfaces to remove debris and dust; sweep, mop, and wax floors in client housing and high-risk environments.
• Clean and decontaminate areas where body fluids are present; dispose of bio-hazardous wastes properly; maintain a safe environment for clients of varying ages by reporting safety hazards.
• Serve as lead custodian over entry-level custodians and less experienced Custodian 2s.
• Handle bloodborne pathogen waste spills and specialized cleaning using BBP/PPE and SDS procedures.
• Identify, resolve, and report violations of regulatory standards within a restrictive environment and safeguard clients, staff, and visitors.
